AUGUST
2019; JESSUP, MD: API proudly announces the commissioning of a 24 channel 2448
console for Wire & Vice studio in Milwaukee,
WI. Established in 2001 by Owner and Producer Daniel Holter, Wire & Vice’s
impressive client highlights include artists such as Rihanna, Skillet, Field
Report, and WebsterX among others.
Wire & Vice is also home to The License Lab, Holter’s Licensing Company.
Many of The License Lab’s projects are completed using the 2448, including work
for Sony, Honda, CBS, Netflix, Apple, Microsoft, Nike, and many more.
Regarding his decision to add the
2448 to Wire & Vice’s studio operations, Holter notes, “When it came time
to upgrade our A room this past year, we looked at all the available options
and one company and console hit all our key elements—legendary sound, quality
reputation, American made, easy to use for visiting producers and engineers,
killer automation and DAW integration—meaning we instantly fell in love with
the new 2448 from API when we got a tour of the desk at AES.”
“It’s only made our smiles bigger since we’ve installed it here this summer,
and we’re already getting calls to book the room before we’ve done any real
marketing,” adds Holter. “Classic and modern all in one fantastic package, we
couldn’t be happier.”
