DB1i
I was astonished at hearing my old system and music as translated by a pair of PMC DB1i. The clarity of discrete instruments and the sweet rendering of familiar material brought tears to our eyes.”
Mr K, USA
“Outstanding”
Mr D, Swindon
“Excellent”
Mr R Ryde
“Simply superb straight from the box. It took a lot of research on-line and an extended listening session of a number of speakers to get me to part with that amount for these small boxes. Any doubts that they were anything but value for money disappeared when I set them up at home.”
Mr L, UK
“Very pleased with sound”
Mr B, Swansea
“I listened to the db1 is on a shop demo and was so impressed I borrowed them for a home dem. After a couple of hours listening I phoned my dealer to order a pair in lovely walnut. I now have them in my home and WOW. Very pleased customer thank you”

Look great, easy to set up and position, sounds fantastic with Primare CD31 and bi-amped Arcam AVR 600 run on stereo direct. A vast improvement on my B&W 603 S2\'s. Can\'t wait for them to run in.
Mr D, UK
Clear, revealing and musical, no wooliness but not \"in your face\" either! Wonderful, very pleased with my purchase.
Mr G, Kent
Never knew that transmission line speakers can sound so good with tight and defined bass. Just Great.expensive but worth the money.
Mr Z, Malaysia
Excellent performance and detail.
Mr G, Dartford
I love the sound from these units. The cabinets are exquisite - very well made. Enjoying the tunes!
Mr H Canada
Incredible detail, tonally very accurate, massive sound stage
Mr P, St Neots
Fantastic detail and clarity. I hear the music, not the boxes.
Mr G, Hungary
TB2i
TB2i speakers sound fantastic, even with my 20 year old Denon Amplifier. Very neutral sound which is ideal for listening to classical music.
Mr M, Yorkshire
They sound amazing!
Mr A, Melbourne
Superb. Of course need to run in for a while. Can’t wait for that and listen to all my CDs and SACDs all over again!

FB1i
I tried these against another well known speaker manufacturers latest model and didn’t\'t expect there to be much difference. Within seconds both my local dealer and I were astounded by the clarity and accuracy of these speakers. Compared to the other manufacturers offering it was night and day. Everything just sounds right with all instruments have a completely accurate timbre and tone. Soundstage depth and width was expansive and pace/rhythm/timing spot on.
These are very special speakers that will last me through many system upgrades.
Mr C Australia.
Who needs surround sound when stereo imaging is this good? A convincing three dimensional sound stage can be created by proper communication between two speakers and two ears.
The only problem is that the acoustics of my listening room now needs upgrading to realize the full potential of these speakers. Ordinary speakers don\'t reproduce low bass in such quantity or quality.
Mr K Australia
I am really enjoying them-- they are amazing!
Mr R, Canada
Absolutely stunning
Mr C, Stevenage
There is nothing to change or improve, these loudspeakers really are outstanding
Mr H, Dorset
They sound great, very detailed, natural and rhythmic

OB1i
Stunning sound!! Excellent build quality - (Thank you Akeem)
Mr G Illinois
I am now (at last) realizing the full potential of the electronics. Stereo imaging and depth are excellent, and I am more and more listening to the music, and some CD\'s previously dismissed are now more pleasurable, although poor source material is soon revealed. These are so good that they will be the last speakers I shall have, and the feeling of wanting to spend more on the electronics has gone away. I am glad I pushed the budget having considered and auditioned FB1i\'s, and felt that the extra on OB1i\'s would be well justified, even though I did not audition them at home.
Mr F, Highworth
This is the 4th pair of PMC speakers to be found in my house in addition to a single centre speaker. They are to be found as a surround system featuring PB1i plus TB2 centre and rear. Also in the two main bedrooms we have a pair of FB1i\'s and this pair of OB1i\'s.
You may be interested to know that these are not the speakers that I use for my main stereo o system - those are the large 4-way TDL speakers that used to be one step below the massive reference TDL set. They are still working well but in the event of total breakdown I would probably investigate the possibility of a pair of MB\'s.
I have found a very interesting interview that Peter Thomas gave a while ago. Like him, I became very excited by the soundworld of transmission line speakers as in IMF speakers. At that time I was a part-time professional trumpet player and these were the first speakers that I had ever heard that delivered anything like the real world of sound that I would recognize. Having been introduced to these by a friend who had a pair of monitor IMFs I bought a pair of studio IMFs plus a slightly smaller pair to be wired through to a second room.
Later on I purchased my current pair of TDL monitors. At that time these came in two sizes - 3 and 4 way. The 4-way speakers were a cut-down version of the very large reference speakers with the same units - but not so many! The quality of the build was always excellent and that probably explains why they still give good service today.
I have found the PMC speakers to inhabit the same sound world and use them in 3 key listening areas of the house. I am also impressed with the high quality of the cabinet work - very important if you are decorating the house with speakers and still intending to remain on good terms with one\'s wife!
A very happy customer.

PB1i
Performance is amazing. High and low range is outstanding
Mr M Kent
I have just upgraded from the OB1i\'s and I thought they were really good but these new speakers in a word are simply awesome.
Depth, clarity, tone, my music collection has an added dimension even on CD\'s I\'m familiar with. Fabulous!!

These are really excellent speakers. I am using them with Bryston front end and the sound is amazing.

Wonderful. First time I own high quality monitors. Worth mentioning is the fact that I went to my dealer Universal Son, with the intent to buy Focal Solo monitors, which I read good things about. But of course I brought a few CDs with me so I could try before buying. Classical music (Mozart\'s Requiem) and Jazz (Piano + Bass). I couldn’t\'t believe my ears, nor could the dealer r, because the upright bass was sounding \"very narrow\" on the Solo, I also tried the Focal Twin, better but not as good as the TBS2A which was as good as the much higher price K&H 300 monitors.
So my choice was clear, I went for the TBS2A. It performs wonderfully at home, clarity, presence, stereo image, etc... When in room next to my home studio, I believe the band is in the room.
Will likely buy a bass unit later in the year, as a good part of my music activities - I\'m not a pro - involves writing Upright bass lines.

“I have a small home studio, which I use for narrations and voiceovers -- obviously, a realm where quality of the spoken word takes precedence over all else. I've had your monitors only a day. As I expected: absolutely state of the art. Then again n, I really shouldn’t be that surprised: I\'m a diehard Quad/LS35A afficionado whose love with \"The Brit Sound\" stretches back over three decades (I actually attended school in the UK there, back in the old Leak/Wharfdale days). These are actually my very first PMC monitors; I've owned mostly Adams in the past, and was actually considering purchasing a pair of Focal Solo6s -- until I chanced upon an interview (SOS?) with Peter Thomas, and learned of his BBC roots. Well, where I was concerned, it was a done deal; the monitors were purchased sight unseen, sound unheard. Bravo! Insofar as these little PMCs, inner detail and imaging are simply staggering. Congratulations to Peter and the team at PMC. A job well done indeed.”

EB1i
Absolutely stunning speakers, extremely musical, a speaker for life, well till I can afford the IB2\'s, look stunning in Walnut, a very very happy customer, the EB\'s have really have re-awakened my love for music.

MB2i
Absolutely impressive: even though one of the mid-range domes curvature isn't perfect (the other one is), when seen / inspected while reflecting a light beam, it\'s truly amazing how clear and layered the mid-frequencies can be listened through the amazing powerful bass output. Never heard something alike, nor from Bowers and Wilkins\', the bigger JMLabs or Martin-Logans.
Mr G, Uruguay
TB2S
Well done guys, I am very much liking these speakers!!! They allow me to hear what is needed to make the right decisions mixing. My mixes are better because of them.
Mr R, Cottenham
DB1S+
For such a small footprint the DB1S+ is close to an ideal nearfield monitor speaker for me. Fantastic extended bass response (for a small speaker) and very very clear centre image which is important for monitoring mixes with centre placed vocal. Can sound a little strained at high levels in the mid range on challenging vocals (Try Norah Jones \'Don\'t know why\' on the \'Come Away with Me\' album). I would recommend them to anyone looking for a nearfield monitor speaker
