Output Production Studios chose PMC IB1S 3-way midfields powered by Bryston amplification and TB2S-A activated nearfields for critical monitoring in their multi-purpose production.

Ian Wallman of Output Production comments: “The IB1S enable me to check mixes at higher volumes and in-particular the low end / sub frequencies, as well as performing brilliantly even at low volumes". He added "The TB2S-A's are a superbly well balance nearfields, I have owned many, many monitors from different manufacturers but have found 'the PMC sound' to be most accurate and one that translates best.” Wallman further commented, “I discovered the joys of working on PMC monitors during a contract with BBC Post Production (Mailbox) while working on programs such as Coast".  "The PMC systems in all of the rooms never failed to amaze me in terms of accuracy across the whole frequency spectrum.. every detail was there to hear .. Ouput are working on a range of projects using his newly acquired PMC monitoring systems, from Dance music Remixing for Beyonce, Lady Ga Ga, Alanis Morrissette, Shakira.  As a lot of Outputs work is within the Dance music genre, Wallman finds that the IB1S really help him to hear how the tracks work in the club environment.  “The bottom end has to be really accurate and the IB1S go down to 25Hz without a separate sub unit!”

Wallman is also producing / engineering / mixing a range of albums, from Pop to Rock to Classical.  He comments that “Irrespective of musical genre PMC monitors are invaluable in tracking and mixing where accuracy is of the upper most importance”, and composing the opening ceremony of the International Wheelchair Basket Ball Championship (Held in 2010 at NIA Birmingham) and remastering the back catalogue of Big Bear Records, the UKs oldest specialist Jazz Label.

Ivor Nevello nominated Producer, Ian Wallman has been working across many sectors of the music industry for over fifteen year. Starting out with Choice FM as a presenter/ producer, Ian moved into music production to support his DJ'ing activities but soon found it dominating his life. Producing a stream of successful underground Dance tracks  was soon followed by a UK number 7 chart hit with "Girls Like Us" by The B15 Project (co-produced with Angus Campbell) in 2000, leading to record and publishing deals from Relentless and EMI, while in 2005 Ian landed a record deal with Tommy Boy (USA) with Electro Ragga Rock outfit 'Cantankerous'. Current activities include producing album projects as varied as pop, rock, jazz and even classical. Ian also remains an in-demand remixer having recently produced remixes for Beyonce, Lady Ga Ga, Alanis Morissette and Shakira.

 The IB1S is an extremely flexible 3-way monitor, which has found its home in the most varied of environments.  It features a wide dispersion soft domed fabric mid and high frequency units and the PMC 10" carbon fibre and Nomex™ flat piston low frequency driver.
